Presidential Jet breaks down: delays Mahama for Farmers' day event

According to the presidency, a fault on the official jet  marooned President John Mahama in the Ashanti region while the nation was celebrating Farmer’s day in the Western Regional district of Sefwi Wiawso.

The national farmers day event which began at 10:00am had travelled over two hours without the President. He joined festivities at approxiamately 1pm.

The President had attended a breakfast meeting in Kumasi held for renowned American mega-pastor T.D Jakes.
