Amanda, ex-wife of Ghanaian billionaire Kennedy ‘Cappuccino’ Agyapong  popularly known as Kenpong is on fire. The wife of Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah,  has revealed top secrets of Kenpong in an attempt to disgrace him. Amanda in a seven minute audio accused the man of owing her $30,000.

She alleged that most of the top Black Stars players have slept with his wife Mona. Amanda amidst vulgar words also mentioned names of some high profile personalities she claims have slept with the wife of Kennedy Agyapong, President and CEO of Kenpong Group of Companies. According to her, Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor, John Paintsil, Nana 1 and other personalities have slept with Mona, his wife.

She also alleged that Kenpong’s wife is a lesbian and sleeps with her friend when her husband is away.

‘Fake’ HIV/AIDS ambassador arrested

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Police Service has arrested Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, the former HIV/AIDS ambassador who confessed to being HIV negative in December.

The PRO of the CID, Joseph Obinifo Darkwah confirmed the arrest to Citi News and said that Madam Mensah was accompanied by her lawyer and was helping in their investigations.

He revealed that the arrest was made after a complaint was filed by the Ghana AIDS Commission to the Police against Madam Mensah.

“We invited Ms. Mensah and she reported this morning to assist with investigations,” he said

“The AIDS Commission made a complaint to us that one time she claimed to be  HIV positive but she is now claiming to be negative.”

Mr. Darkwah added that Madam Mensah would be eligible for bail after she is interrogated by the police and “report later for us to continue with the investigations.”

Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, last December revealed that she has never been infected with the virus, despite parading as a carrier for several years.

However, the Ghana AIDS Commission has rejected this, and issued a statement insisting that  she had tested positive for HIV in 2007.

Bukom Banku Arrested

CRUISER WEIGHT Boxer, Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku, was on Tuesday afternoon arrested for reportedly assaulting and injuring two persons at James Town in Accra.



This is not the first time the professional boxer has found himself in police grips over assault and violent behaviour.

The two injured persons in the recent case were said to be part of a group of fishermen who were celebrating their annual festival in the Ga Mashie area and were singing and dancing to satirical songs known as ‘kpashimo’, an integral part of the festival.

The ‘kpashimo’ songs have lyrics that talk about the ills of society and wrongdoings of individuals during the year.

Bukom Banku was said to have been incensed when one of the ‘kpashimo’ songs talked specifically about a fetish priestess, Aawon Amoa, believed to be his girlfriend.

The boxer was reported to have ordered the cele- brants to stop the ‘kpashimo’ but they refused and he gathered some men who armed themselves with clubs, sticks and machetes, in a quest to forcefully stop the celebrants.

Nayele sentenced to 8 years in prison

The Ghanaian/Austrian who pleaded guilty to carrying 12 kilos of cocaine to the United Kingdom has been sentenced to eights years, eight months’ imprisonment.

Nayele Ametefe was sentenced on her own plea by the Isleworth Crown Court in London Tuesday afternoon.

Reports indicate that Nayele appeared in court well dressed and looked indifferent when the sentence was handed down.

An aggressive family member of the convicted drug courier was said to have attacked some members of the press outside the court after the sentence was pronounced.

On what transpired in court, it is reported that the prosecutors said the cocaine carried by Nayele had a purity of 76% and a street value of 1.8 million Pounds.

The prosecutors told the court Nayele had $26,000 and an additional 6,000 Pounds in her handbag when she was arrested.
