The Coordinator of the National Information Centre and Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Mike Omeri, made this known in a statement signed by his Special Adviser,
David Akoji.
Omeri stated intelligence reports had shown that three South African nationals were among some of the fighters recruited by ISIS agents operating under the guise of humanitarian support groups for refugees and orphans in Nigeria.
He added that ISIS was scouting for fighters around the Islamic world and from Africa, and cautioned Nigerians against being tempted into joining the terror group.
“Nigerians are known the world over to be selfless, hospitable and humanitarian. We believe in the brotherhood of all mankind and no one should be allowed to take advantage of these virtues or turn them into vices.
“Nigerians are therefore advised to report to security agencies without hesitation, any group or non-governmental agency whose overt or covert activities are suspicious or have tendencies to jeopardise the innocence of our youths and the security of our people wherever they are in the world,” he said.

Jackie Chan's son charged for drug offense in China
The Supreme People's Procuratorate said in a brief statement on Sina Weibo, a Chinese microblogging site, that it had begun legal proceedings against actor Jaycee Chan for "the crime of sheltering others to take drugs."
Chan, who is originally from Hong Kong, is one of the highest profile celebrity offenders caught in Beijing's clampdown on drug use in the city.
He was arrested alongside 23 year-old Taiwanese actor Kai Ko in August this year. The pair were detained by Beijing police during a raid in Dongcheng district, the city's commercial and cultural center.
Both men tested positive for marijuana and police later found more than 100 grams of the drug after searching Chan's apartment.
Ko was released after 14 days in administrative detention, while Chan has remained in police custody since his arrest.

The inappropriate relationship was uncovered when an Upper Pottsgrove Police officer allegedly found Iris Gibney and the teen naked, having sex inside a parked car.
The car was illegally parked in Hollenbach Park in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, after closing around 10:30 p.m. Nov. 15.

As the officer approached the car, he saw Gibney performing a sex act on the teen, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained from police.
The 17-year-old Pottsgrove High School student said he met Gibney at a high school football game earlier this year, police said. She had been volunteering as a "cheer mom" for the cheerleading team that her daughter is apart of.

She was back at work Tuesday night and declined to comment when contacted at the retail store.
Speaking briefly to NBC10, Gibney's husband said he's upset, hurt and just trying to keep his family together.
She faces a preliminary hearing later this month, according to court records.

To make the acquisition of the gleaming new toy fit for the electoral stomp an attractive proposition, the presidency will trade in one of the planes currently in the presidential fleet. But the purchase will still gulp N400 million as deposit to the manufacturer.
Towards combating the insurgency in the country, the appropriation bill contains a N1,308,400,600 proposal to be spent on NICEP II security elements phase II by the NSA; N2,093,861,553 for maritime border security solutions (Falcon Eye); N2,093,861,553 for North-East border security solutions and N850 million for the DSS to buy more firearms and ammunition for all the service formations.
Defense, which comprises the Ministry of Defense, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force, has a vote of N358,466,078,698.

8 children found dead in house in Australia
The children, aged between 18 months and 15 years, were found at 11.20am (1.20am Irish time) in the suburb of Manoora, Queensland state police said in a statement.
A 34-year-old woman, who’s being treated for serious injuries in the hospital, is helping police with their inquiries, Detective Inspector Bruno Asnicar told reporters.
Det Insp Asnicar said police believed the woman was the mother of seven of the children.

Anybody who has had any involvement in the past two or three days is a person of interest,” he said.

Australian prime minister Tony Abbott released a statement calling the deaths “an unspeakable crime” while state premier Campbell Newman said he would ensure the emergency services workers who attended the scene would be given counseling if needed.

Getting Scary: Obinim’s Church Release Full Video To Show That The Woman He Stepped On Wasn’t Pregnant
OB TV (Obimin TV) has released a full video of the service which has gone viral and piqued international interest including Amnesty International. The 42-second video, which went viral on social media, was reported as capturing Bishop Daniel Obinim stomping on the pregnant woman during an exorcism session.
Several groups, including the MamaYe Campaign and the Alliance for Reproductive Health Rights (ARHR) have condemned the act. Motivational speaker, Reverend Albert Ocran added his voice to the matter saying that criminal charges must be pressed against the Founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Obinim for doing what he did.
“Very importantly, crime is crime and let’s draw a line between excesses and crime. And if somebody steps on the foot of a pregnant person, it is assault and there is criminal prosecution and there is evidence right there and so let’s just go for that,” he said.

Chief murdered in Zabzugu
According to a family source on grounds of anonymity, the late Naa Sumani Tigu was shot on Tuesday evening at about 8:30 pm .
The cause of the incident is yet to be established.
The source implied that the late Salinkuga Naa was shot twice on the thigh and one of the bullets penetrated through his abdomen.
The source revealed that he died in an ambulance on the way to the Tamale Teaching Hospital (TTH).
Salinkuga, a village which is about eight miles away from Zabzugu Township is calm as security personnel are patrol the area.
The Northern Region has recorded a number of chieftaincy disputes that have left several people dead and others severely injured.
3 arrested at KIA for attempting to smuggle cocaine into Ghana
They were rounded up Tuesday at about 11:30 am by officials of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB).
Sources at the airport said the agents were purportedly facilitating the smooth passage of the suspected illicit drug through the cargo village into the country,
A fourth person was also arrested but it later turned out that he was not part of the deal. As at press time yesterday it was not clear whether he had been released or was still being held by the security agencies.
Their arrest followed a tip-off to the security agencies, who arrived at the facility in two Toyota Camry vehicles.
Attempts to get official confirmation were however not successful.

JHS student arrested for defilement
The victim and the accused both attend schools in the same community.
Presenting the facts of the matter in court, Police Prosecutor Sergeant Samuel Awedaga of the Bawku Police Command, said the complainant is the father of the victim and that on December 9 at about 1400 hours, both the victim and the accused had closed from school and on the way home, the accused lured the victim into a nearby bush and defiled her.
Prosecutor Awedaga said during the act, a passerby saw them and called the father of the victim on telephone and informed him and he later reported the matter to the Police.
He said the Police medical form issued to the victim to go to hospital, indicated that she had been defiled and so the accused was subsequently arrested and put before court.

And in the holy Koran chapter 3, the name of the chapter is family of Mariam,’’ and holy Koran chapter 19, the name of the chapter itself is ‘’MARIAM’’ one chapter is ‘’MARIAM’’ so I was very curious to know why does Koran says all these things about MARIAM, holy Koran chapter 3 verse 34 onwards says that Mary was born without original sin, she never committed any sin in her life, she was ever virgin.
Koran chapter 50 verses 23 say that she went to heaven with her physical body. Even the assumption is writing in the holy Koran and then about Jesus, when I read chapter 3 verses 45 to 55 verses, there is 10 point which the Koran makes about Jesus.

Ghana’s economy is not in crises – Mahama
The country is battling with managing the economy; budget deficit, rising debts, public sector wage bill among others; but President Mahama insists that the country’s economy is not in turmoil as analysts are purporting.
“…I wouldn’t say so [economy is in crises]. Yes we have experienced some challenges with the economy in respect of the deficit to GDP. We currently are in talks with the IMF and I believe those talks have been going very well and it gives more confidence in what we are doing with regards to turning the economy,” the President told Aljazeera.

The Judge who delivered the judgment on Monday morning said Jolly Tumuhiirwe’s reasons for assaulting the innocent baby were unjustifiable.
