TERROR IN CALABAR: Big Black Snake Terrorizes Deputy Governor’s Guests

Daily Trust Nigeria reports that a ‘ huge black snake’ terrorized the guests of Mr. Efiok Cobham, the deputy governor of Cross River state while he was entertaining important dignitaries at his official residence.

At the reception in honor of the deputy governor’s chief press secretary, Mr. Effion Okon, a black boa constrictor slid through the grass and threw everyone into panic.

Some youths and brave guests chased the snake eventually and calm was restored.
The visibly shaken deputy governor pleaded with his guests to stay calm and apologized for the bother.
