Kwaw Kese Is Not Alone – Lord Kenya Reveals More #WeedSaga

Ex-hiplife artiste Lord Kenya has revealed that the use of weed is widespread among musicians in the country.

Kenya says some of his former colleagues have secretly discussed with him their desire to quit using the narcotic substance.

“ I have been there before and smoking weed is a common thing among musicians in the country, especially the young ones.”

“There are many of them who have openly come to me and say : you are one of the people we look up to and I wish I could be like you,” the hiplife musician turned preacher told Joy FM’s Evans Mensah on Ghana Connect, Friday.

He advised young musicians to note that everyone will someday account for their deeds on earth.

Kenya’s comments come in the wake of the recent arrest and remand of popular hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese for publicly smoking weed.

Abodam has been denied bail on two occasions amidst concerns over his ‘poor state of health’. He is billed to appear before a Kumasi Circuit court on December 20, 2014.
